Paper: Oi eyes Sky unit to complement satellite portfolio - Brazil (Business News Americas)

Brazilian telecoms operator Oi (NYSE: TNE) is considering acquiring the local unit of satellite TV firm Sky, newspaper Folha de S Paulo reported. Folha quoted an insider at Brazilian broadcaster Globo, holder of 26% of Sky Brasil shares, as saying that the deal is only a matter of time.
